Our fourth
annual Adult Reading Challenge is called Authorian Quest and challenges
participants to read books based on the authors who write them.
If you
choose to accept our challenge you will receive a Royal Charter for your quest,
which contains a list of specific types of authors you must read and provides
you with a place to record your quest.
Your crusade is broken down by different categories that are in no
particular order. You read them in any
order you choose and you decide which quest you choose to read and which
you pass over.
Like last
year, this year’s challenge is interactive.
Each month, additional quests known as Monthly Gauntlets, will be
announced via the Decatur Public Library blog.
These challenges will not be made known until the blog comes out some
time around the first of each month starting with February. You do not have to
do the quests in the month they are released but can go back to add them to
your Charter at any time during the year.
