This entry is from Mary Lou Rose. I started this quilt last February at the Gee's Bend workshop that I was fortunate to attend. It is made from jeans that I have saved since my kids were young many moons ago! Because of the weight of the denim I didn't use batting and the backing is fleece (see lower right corner) that blended very well. I made this as a Christmas gift for my son. I call it Gee's Bend Inspired Denim.
